I think a fictional word would be nice- unless we want to still associate them with nations somehow?

Fictional works. I was sort of thinking that. If it had not been that, I am pretty sure it would have been set in Japan or some other Asian country, because that is where those sort of creatures are usually from.

Mhmmmhmm, yeah that would be the other option, but I guess it would just feel odd with all the characters and focusing on, say, Japanese culture.

Technically not a RP idea but relevant, got the idea after that discussion on the WerewolfvsVampire idea, what do you guys think about me making a section in the RP area for us to post information threads about various AUs to use on FH in, such as the information section we have for the cardverse RP, or the information we have been thinking about for the WerewolfvsVampire AU we have been thinking about?

'Nuther idea I randomly had. Not sure what you guys will think of it though. It would involve another section being made on the forum, probably would be considered a RP challenge/game like the Shipping Challenge.
"I dare you"/"Let me see" or whatever. Technically really suggestions/prompts, or fun/funny situations that you would like to see RPed. Of any two(or maybe a small group of) characters with RPers in the group.
So there would be a main thread for the suggestions/dares and on there you would post with characters other than your own, with a situation you'd like to see them RP out.
Like with the Shipping Challenge, taking part in it would be not compulsory, but encourages.
Since I guess this is a bit difficult to explain, things people might suggest could be:
"I'd like to see Galapagos and Ecuador playing with turtles."
"I dare the UK siblings to have a civil family dinner."
"Let me see France teaching England to cook"
"I dare Russia, Moldova and Romania to have 'family bonding time'"
"I'd like to see Seychelles and Galapagos being being animal island buddies."
etcetcetc.
