Glancing up at the bell ring, Lovino frowned. Shutting off his cellphone and putting it away, he dumped his leftovers into the trash and walked out of the cafeteria.

Seamus looked up from the book he was reading - the bell had rang, meaning that the other students were heading somewhere else now. Sighing, he stayed where he was, wanting to avoid the swarm that crowded the hallways, making it very difficult to walk.

Matthew sat quietly in the cafeteria until heard the bell ring. Standing up, the blond threw out the remains of his food before collecting his things to head to his next class.

Arthur was heading out of the cafeteria with the rest of the students when he noticed someone still sitting at their table, not looking as if they were planning to get up to head to class. Frowning, he walked over to the table, looking down at them as he approached. "Shouldn't you be heading to class?"

Roderich sat alone on the bench at the far end of the courtyard. He took the time to enjoy the the free period by reading while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the garden, the small birds that flocked the courtyard, and the warm August sun. The peace and quiet also pleased him since he had no one to stress him out like his cousin Gilbert and his annoying friends. Well, he suppose Gilbert was the real annoying one; Antonio and Francis weren't too bad. He turned the page and continued to engage in the fine novel.

It was Francis's free period, and, like usual, he didn't really feel up to working on any homework at the time. He could do it later, couldn't he? He was pretty sure he had the time, so it wasn't like he needed to get anything done now. Anyway, he decided it'd be nice to take a small walk. His friends were all stuck in class and he was gravely bored- except not bored enough to work on schoolwork, of course. He took a step into the courtyard. It wasn't too busy, in fact it was kind of quiet with an exception of a few students chattering quite loudly, but not horribly loud. He peered around for a bit, thinking of what he could possibly do, turning his head to look around while wandering about the place. It didn't take long before he found someone, most likely from a younger year, sitting alone. Perhaps this could be his source of entertainment? Everyone else seemed to be busy with other people... He went up a bit closer, realizing it was someone he recognized... Roderich was it? Francis then decided what to do; he snuck behind the unaware student, letting himself be hidden by a bush, then began to chuck pebbles at his back, making sure to duck and hide if he decided to turn around.

Roderich's violet eyes were locked upon the text of his novel as the story began to develop and become far too interesting for him to just stop reading now. He turned the page, anxiously and as he began the next paragraph, he felt a small object hit him at the back of his head. He paused silently as his expression quickly changed to an annoyed but blank stare. He knew all two well that this was three possible problems: Gilbert, Antonio, or Francis. God forbid if it were the whole trio together. Roderich was too mature to dare cause a scene to the delight of some immature upper-class men nor did he want to start any unnecessary nonsense. Releasing a sigh, he placed his book into his bag, strapped his bag onto his shoulder, then made his way towards the right exit of the courtyard.

Francis frowned as Roderich got up. He didn't want to yell at him or anything? Or act all annoyed? Well that's no fun, is it? "Oh? Where are you going?" he called out, "You're not afraid of some small rocks are you?"

Roderich rolled his eyes as he heard Francis call out to him. So much for not wanting to cause a scene. He didn't reply but instead made his way out the courtyard and into the hallway. He didn't want to waste time arguing and he wasn't any good at fighting; anyone could tell you that. Just walking away was the perfect way of escaping these kind of things without him having to be bothered and he wouldn't have it any other way.

Violence is not the answer kids.))

Francis frowned, kicking a small rock boredly and watched it skid a bit away. Nothing was fun unless you get someone to pay attention to you in one way or another. He plopped himself onto the bench Roderich had been sitting on before and peered around the court yard for anyone else he could possibly interact with.

Seamus huffed, getting up and walking out. He pushed past other students and went outside to the courtyard. He sat down on one of the several benches that were spread about outside, getting out his phone and earphones, deciding to listen to the few songs on his cellphone for a bit before he actually had to go to class.

Francis still looked around, and eventually picked out another student sitting alone. He looked a bit grumpy... but that only made that more fun to mess with people, didn't it? This one also looked a bit familiar, but he couldn't quite remember his name. Ah well. He hopped from his seat on the bench and made his way over. When he got over, he sat beside the other student. "What are you listening to, there?"

Only just barely hearing the other, Seamus turned his gaze to see Francis. Oh great. "Music, none of your business," he said in a slightly cold tone. He then turned his gaze away from the blonde and back to his phone, scrolling down the music list for more songs to listen to.

Roderich wondered the empty halls in search of his friends. His plan on being able to relax was pretty much ruined and he ought to apologize to them for ditching them after lunch so hastily. He wondered where they could have ran off to? Vash was probably studying or something and Belle could be god knows where maybe hanging out with the other girls in their year. Roderich stopped in his tracks then leaned up against one of the walls and began to text Vash. He sent a quick and simply "Where are you?" and hope his best friend would actually reply before something or someone came to bother him again. 

(I bet Vash got an old Nokia phone--)

Francis continuously stared at Seamus's phone. "Don't be so harsh about it," he insisted, "I only asked!" He then snatched for his phone, looking at the screen to see what he was listing to, and his songs he had to choose from, and then began selecting new songs and switching to others within a 3 second period.

"Yeah, whatev- Hey!" Seamus snapped when Francis had grabbed the phone out of his hands. He immediately moved to grab it back, taking it from Francis and pushing his arm out to shove him away. He gave Francis a glare, moving to a spot away from him.

(But you know it's true-- maybe he could be in the library studying?))

Roderich grumbled under his breath. He had been waiting for 10 minutes and of course Vash had yet to reply. It didn't help that he was an impatient person either. Where could that over-achieving grump be? Roderich decided to check the library since Vash might be studying there.

Roderich's phone buzzed as he recieved Vash's reply text, simply reading 'busy'.

Francis chuckled as Seamus got frustrated with him, but then sighed, bored, as he got up and left.

After the relatively uneventful lunch, Belle too had a free period and had found herself contentedly flicking through a magazine in a corner of the library.

Roderich slipped into the library as quietly as he could, hoping not to disturb anyone inside the small and silent little haven. He looked around but couldn't find any sign of Vash anywhere. Letting out a small and arrogant huff, he went over and started to search the bookshelves for another book he could probably pick up and read later on since he was almost done with the book he has now.

Roderich checked his phone again and noticed he had gotten a reply from Vash. "Busy?!" He read aloud to himself, taken aback. He huffed angrily then replied back quickly. "Busy with what?! Vash, I'm stuck by myself and god forbid Gilbert and his stupid friends come after me." Roderich took a seat down in one of the chairs in the small corner by the bookshelves as he waited for a reply.

A few minutes passed. "calm down. where are you?" Vash's reply read.

(I feel so mysterious but he's probably just at some table doing homework.)

[Wolfhiidan]

"I'm in the library, where else?!? Hurry up, Francis was already trying to mess with me earlier, the damn womanizer bastard." Just as Roderich finished replying, he began to look around his surroundings, feeling a bit anxious now. He could usually handle his own okay without Vash if he was faced with just one of the annoying trio but all three would be unfortunate.

[Wolpard]

"fine. ill be there in a bit." Vash sent after an other few minutes.

Francis peered into the Library. No one interesting seemed to have stayed in the courtyard so he decided to check somewhere else. He quickly re-spotted Roderich, giving a small chuckle at him before sneaking over. He came from behind him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "It's rude to get up and leave on someone."
