Character Swap

Lol I remember mentioning this maybe a year and a half ago and possibly a few times after, and I do know it received positive feedback from the people at the time that responded to the idea, but it never happened. So I thought I could bring it up again.

Basically, whoever wants to participate puts out characters that they're willing to temporarily trade out, and probably only for a specific/new short-term RP, so it doesn't interfere with long-term RPs and that way people won't get bummed about not being able to play their usual characters. Heck, we could make it a one-day event if people are willing to all come on FeralHeart on the same day and time in order to participate and so we could start up an RP for it. It's just a simple thing, kind of to see how we all interpret different characters differently and see characters RP'd in different RP styles.

We'd need to decide how to do it, whether we do a drawing that's like the shipping challenge, or simply trade out characters. If done like the shipping challenge, we could do it so when we pull out pairs, those two characters need to switch places in terms of who RPs them. If we'd simply trade characters, we can just decide who we want to trade with. Although I personally like the drawings since we don't get to decide and could end up with a surprise.

And of course, only people willing to temporarily give up characters and try out new ones should participate.

(Also, maybe this would be an event only for cannon characters? Just to be safe as to not screw up each other's OCs or keep from having someone else re-research everything since others' OCs usually aren't as familiar to other people.)

Ohhhyeah. It sounds interesting.
It depends on if we want it to be another challenge-like thing, or if it's just fun dabbling about with other characters if we do do random drawing or let people chose.
I think, if we go with it being people choosing who. Maybe still have a 'drawing' day, however on that day each person says who out of the other characters 'submitted' they would like to try RPing or wouldn't mind, and things could be worked out from there (Maybe the other people in the group could vote for who gets to RP each character, of course going by who still wants to.)
