So, I have an idea-

Hiidan and I were talking about Assassin's Creed and we thought it might be fun to start an Assassin's Creed role play.
I know that only some of us actually play the game, but the basic idea of the game isn't that difficult, I think it isn't at least. If people are willing to try, it could be fun and it could also be sort of like a historical role play as well, since the game usually follow historical events.


The Basic Idea of the Game: There are two groups, the Assassin's Creed and the Templar Order, who fight with each other, both having their own ideas who what would make the world a better place and more peaceful. The templars usually have some control over the government of the country they are in and their ideas of "peace" usually mean enforcing and punishing the seemingly weaker people by manipulating the government. The assassins, work to stop the templars and will get thrown into whatever problems the country is having at the time in order to stop the templars.


That's the series, pretty much.


Actual Role Play Idea: The game usually focuses on one assassin, who may or may not run into other assassins that might help. The role play would be focused on the actual Creed, or a part of the Creed who has gone to deal with a problem the Templars have started. Some characters would be assassins. Some would be templars. A country would have to be chosen for a setting and a historical time or event should be chosen for the plot to focus around.
To decide on the country and historical time/event, people can decide who should be on which side, Assassins or Templars. For those who decide to make their characters templars, one of those characters could be picked to be a "leader" of their specific Templar group. Since the templars usually have government control, whichever character is the leader, it is their country where the plot would take place. We would just have to pick a historical time or event.


Examples (If anyone is really unfamiliar with the games):
One game was focused on the American Revolution (cries). The Assassin was a Native American who wanted to save his village from being thrown out of their home. The Templars were working on the side of the British to subdue the American rebels. The Templars were the ones planning to invade the assassin's native village. In order to help his people, the assassin had to help the Americans with their war.
A more broader range of enemies; another game was focused on pirates. One of the assassins (the best assassin) was a pirate. He really just wanted to be a pirate, but he had gotten himself tangled up with the assassins and in-turn, eventually became one himself. Especially since the Templars were working with governmental forces, who were mainly trying to defeat the assassins, but also threatening pirates as well.


Another Note: There have been a lot of new role plays started on the forums lately. So, not to clutter up the forums, perhaps this role play could be an organized, long term role play on FH. We haven't really had one since Devils and Angels. There are also some members who do play the games, but don't go onto the forums too much and it seems unfair to keep them out, especially when they will have more of an idea of what is going on and can help out more.
We wouldn't have to role play it every time people come onto FH. Just maybe once or twice a week, such as on the weekends when people have more time to come on, and if there are enough people on to actually continue it.
I thought it might just also be nice to have an organized role play on FH and not a random plot that we might get lost or bored with when we don't know how to continue, but then we are all still bored.

Assassins Creed is wonderful, but maybe we could split it between FH and here? I rarely am on FH, but would love to join.

Ah. We could try to figure something out. It would just need more planning. Perhaps, if more people want to partake in the idea, we can figure something out.

I actually like the splitting it apart idea, so people more on forums can pop in, and people more on FH can too.~ I've never played Assassin's Creed, though I've wanted to, and the idea sounds rather interesting. :>

If people want to split the forums and FH, that's okay. We just have to make sure people who go on both the forums and on FH don't get confused between the two role plays.

Maybe we avoid confusion with splitting th characters too? Like.. if I enter SK on the forums I can't enter him on FH.

I don't know about that, especially since some people, even though most of is have multiple characters, might like to use one or two specific character. Also, they might not think their character will fit into this sort of role play depending on the type of character, limiting their choices even more. 


It would probably just be best to think of two different story lines and maybe switch up the sides the characters are on a little.
