Spirit Animal AU- characters have the ability to transform into whatever animal is their given spirit animal.

Mutation AU- what appears to be a virus, created by several scientists in a lab, spread through a certain area and is slowly spreading across the country and continents, mutating humans into ugly, ferocious beasts that don't even look human anymore

Kingdom Hearts AU- set in a disney based world, characters can be keyblade wielders, Nobodies, or whatever else there is. Characters often fight against Heartless or other creatures

Resurrection AU- picked characters have died from certain causes. However, they reappear somehow due to unknown causes not only alive, but unharmed aas well. Along with this, these characters have no memory of how or when they died, and they also seem to have memories from something, but noun idea of what it might be.

Dragon Rider AU- characters are dragon riders, skills passed down from generations before, along with a strange mark representing their family. Each of them has a dragon partner

And the Resurrection one reminded me of a manga I read called Ajin, where there are a very few people in the world who are immortal, but they are literally identical to normal people until something happens where they should die, butofcoursetheydon't, insteadtheyquicklyhealbacktonormalhealth. And scientists are trying to capture them all for experiments which basically involve repeatedly "killing" them, and normal people are scared of them. And other interesting things I shouldn't say because of spoilers if anyone does decide to read- Oh and also all the immortal people seem to have their own [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that they can control to some extent.
