I think most of the European characters we play would already be at least partly robotic, even if they aren't being controlled. Perhaps some of the more powerful or important countries could start showing signs, seeing as they are probably already being controlled. England, France, Switzerland maybe (because of the whole trigger-happy, must keep neutrality, I thought it might work), Russia (Eurasian nation close enough).

We don't have that many characters. I'm assuming this will be on the forums, so there would be less since we would miss the people who go on FH more (otherwise I would have suggested America and Japan). Probably two characters can start showing signs to get the other suspicious.

It's only just occurred to me but when you say becoming robotic. Do you mean they physically are becoming robotic and all, or just mentally?

Well, in the story, the country was an actual robot-thing. The nation started out in a human form, but when technology became more advanced, the government changed that particular nation to control them and to have saved data if anything where to happen to the original. 
We could just do some sort of controlling memory chip or something to that nature that the government somehow were able to put in the countries. Or, we can just make the partly-human, partly robots, or all robots (if the "original" died). Whichever is fine.

... :D Dramaconspiracy that the government themself actually killed the original fleshy personification for their own country, but knew what they were doing and did it to replace with the robot which they can control much easier and they think would be better for the country it's self? And at first the robot like absorbs the memories and everything of the personification but from then onwards gradually lose that humanityifyoucancallitthatwithHetaliaanyway because they don't form any new human-like thoughts and gradually the governments program that out of them------?

That's how the story sort of progress, I think (itwasawhileagoIdon'tremember). Would all the countries be like that or just some? If they slowly start losing humanity, it would have had to be done fairly recently (of course to create a robot like that would have had to been with very modern technology anyway I guess).

Wait actually I guess what we decide has actually happened with them will effect what happens in the sense that if it went like how I had said, it'd involve the actual people being dead, so .... It could never become happier as it goes on. Nohopeofthemcomingbacktolifeohno- ... Unless magic but if Iggy is one of the robo ones then that probably wouldnt wo- RO COULD SAVE THE DAY-
But if it was something that involved the personalities of them changing for whatever reason but not the characters being dead and replaced by roots then it could go happy again.

If they killed the personified nation, that could have destroyed the actual nation, since both are supposed to be connected. What if they have the actual personified nations just frozen or in a coma-like state somewhere and they send the robots out in their place?

The only being part robot could still work too maybe? I don't know if they could ever be fully human again, but they could learn to control themselves.
Idon'tknow. The first idea I mentioned is okay, I think, but eventually there might be doubles running around if the real nations are released while the robots are still around and we would have to figure out how to deal with that.

What if the coma-y real nations minds were linked with the robots, which is what allowed the robots to take their place, but for it to work it involved the real one to be in the coma state, and if they were to wake up then it would break the link and the robot would become kinda useless or something?

Idon'tknow- Maybe some of the nations have noticed that the robotic ones have been acting different lately. They just ignore it though, but something happens to make them suspect something is wrong?
Maybe the coma state nations can try to control the robots they are connected to and leave hints and clues. (That also might be good since other nations might be the same, but not being overly controlled. They don't know they are the same).

Yeahh. The idea of leaving hints sounds good.
But then setting at the start. More world meetings sound like they could be boring, or at least would feel repetitive for us.
Unless perhaps it was a bunch of only the non-robo people/newly robo people who are pretty much normal having asked to meet together because they are concerned about the others. (But then perhaps people RPing the characters who have noticably starting acting different would be halpful to suggest some things which could have happened to highlight this unusual behaviour.)

I think they would have been robots for a few years at the very least if it develops into a conspiracy. Andthegovernmentsdidareallypoorjobathidingitiftherobotsarethatnewandarealreadybeingfoundout. They would be an artificial intelligence, those who are robots. They would learn as they go. I think it would be a malfunction in the programming and the coma-state nations starting to gain control (after being stuck like that for a while) that make suspicions of conspiracy rise.
Maybe some world-wide/multi-nation event. World championships. Olympics. Eurvision. The nations are their to represent their countries, but it is also a time where they probably act most human (assuming they enjoy those sort of events).

Yes, those were part of the hints we thought of, but also the coma-state nations making the robots actually leave hints (maybe by taking over the robot and telling the other nations something or leaving notes or something to that nature). Atleastthat'swhatIthoughtwemeant.
