Upon entering the castle, Roderich took note of the luxury decorations that covered the inside of the castle walls. It was so elegant and fancy; far more than Roderich had ever been experienced to that is. There were guards placed by the two other hallways on both sides of the giant staircase leading to the throne room. Maybe for once, Roderich could do something a bit exciting and maybe even please the royal family. He was about to make his way up the stairs when he heard footstep trail behind him. He turned around and saw a young man rushing over his way-- just a couple of years behind him it looked- and raised an eyebrow as the man approached him.

Happily waving his hand as he approached, Santiago greeted the stranger before quickly switching to questioning his presence. "Hello! What's your name- And, why are you here? I doubt you're going to find whoever you're looking for!" It was always nice to meet someone new, just, working around and in the castle he'd learnt to be more attentive of when someone unfamiliar entered, you have to be careful with who gets close to the royalty.

"Oh?" Roderich muttered before clearing his throat. "My name is Roderich Edelstien; I heard the king and queen could use some assistance with a few matters so I decided to come and lend my assistance if that's alright with you." Roderich began to examine the young man before him. He wasn't wearing any royal or fancy attire so he assumed he was just one of the workers for the royal family. He adjusted his glasses, keeping his not-so-thrilled expression. "Would you be so kind as to direct me to the throne room, sir?"

"Santiago Flores" He briefly introduced himself, "And I'm not so much in a position to do that. Anyway, anyone of importance have been moved elsewhere for now, but yes we are having a bit of a problem at the moment, any help would be great." He then paused to look at the man in front of him, considering if he should explain the situation more yet. Those still at the castle were told to be careful about how much information they let out. If everyone for miles around heard that the Prince and Princess had gone missing, who knows what could happen to the Kingdom.
Okay. He'd be lying if he said he said he could spot someone with ill intentions, more in-tune with the animals kept here than the people. But even with Roderich's expression, he didn't seem shifty or anything.

((Anyone want to chuck another character in as another person helping at the castle? ;u;))

"Well like I said, I'd be happy to help," Roderich reassured. He began wondering what possibly could have gone wrong. Surely it must be something horribly dangerous if the royal staff had to take to such measures as to relocate the royal family. The thought of it all made Roderich quite anxious though he wasn't going to turn around and head straight home now; he's already come rather far if by far meant getting into the castle. "How can I help? I'll be happy to help anyone with anything."

Yes. Bring in more characters if you'd like guys; this could be a good start for anyone-- you can be anything you want <3))

Yaakov stood in his position on guard in the castle. It was an awfully boring job, but it came with great benefits, at least. He couldn't help but here the commotion of two voices going on a bit down the hall. One of the voices sounded familiar, the other... he couldn't identify. He couldn't figure out what either was saying, so he decided maybe it'd be best to check it out. Looking around to see if anyone was watching, Yaakov quickly left his post and walked swiftly toward the voices. "Who's that?" he asked, pointing his finger at Roderich, before saying or doing anything else.

Roderich had noticed the sudden guard appear from out of no where and paused, straightening his stance. "Roderich Edelstien sir," he introduced himself. "Local mercenary at the royal family's orders. I was hoping to help out with the small problem that's occurred."

Santiago lifted a hand up in a quick wave to Yaakov, before letting out a slight chuckle at Roderich's use of 'small', commenting "If you want to call the disappearance of two of the royal family small, sure," However, he then paused with a blank expression in thought, so much for being careful about who he told about this.

"What?!" Roderich said astonished, turning his attention back to Santiago. "Two of the royal family has disappeared?!" So this was their "small" problem. Roderich grumbled to himself furiously. How could they let this happen and not do anything about it? It was the royal family for christ's sake! "How did this happened?! Is anyone searching for them now?! Surely you couldn't just let this take are of it's self!!"

Yaakov placed his hands on his hips and shook his head. "You shouldn't be throwing out information so freely like that," he scolded to Santiago, before turning to Roderich. "You shouldn't be asking so many questions. It's best you leave before you get yourself into any trouble- and not say a word to anyone about this."

"No!" Roderich refused. "I refuse to walk away and act like none of this had ever happen! It's obvious that you can't handle this on your own so why not let me help?! Just give me a chance and I'll have them back for you; I'll even do it for free!". Roderich didn't care about the amount of gold or fame he'd receive for doing this task. All he really cared about was getting the two royal family members back for their safety and the kingdom's safety. He wasn't going to take no for am answer.

Santiago held a guilty look after his accidental release of the information they were meant to be keeping secret, however as Roderich continued he turned back to Yaakov with a more child-like, pleading expression, "Maybe... Maybe we should let him help...? It would be good to have more people helping find them! The more the better."

Yaakov was silent for a moment, and thought a bit. When he started up again, he seemed a bit unsure of the words coming out of his mouth, "Well... well that's not my decision... or yours for that matter," he glared at Santiago lightly, "You'd have to question someone higher up; that is, if they don't get upset by your request- and don't you go telling people we said anything about it."

"Fine," Roderich grumbled bitterly. He wasn't stupid at all and would never just blurt everything out to the public. Who knows what that'd cause. "Well," he began, clearing his throat once more. "Who exactly must I talk to about this issue? I wouldn't mind having a good conversation with them."

Yaakov turned to stare down a long hallway. "Down that way," he pointed, "second doorway on your left I'm pretty sure. Tell who ever is in there you have to talk something important. The rest you have to make up on your own." With that he turned himself around once more and went back to his post.

Roderich leaned over and stared down the hallway Yaakov was directing at. He took in a deep breath and headed down the hall with determination. He'll prove how helpful he his no doubt to just whoever is in charge of things here. If anything, he was only worried about criticizing the person too far; he had a bad habit of judging people quickly. Roderich arrived in front of the door and then entered inside.

(anyone wanna be like head general/commander of the royal army and talk shit bout Rodpiss?)
